About the Australian Democrats in New South Wales
The Australian Democrats are registered to contest local government elections across New South Wales, and are building towards state registration so voters have a sensible, community-focused choice at the March 2027 state election. For decades the Australian Democrats have stood for sensible, community-focused politics and accountability in government; founded in 1977, the party is entirely volunteer-powered. All our policies are member created, following review of evidence and debate.
